The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills and a keen ability to troubleshoot various issues that may arise during the production process. Flexibility in adapting to changing production needs and schedules is essential. Web Press Production Technician Key Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain web press machinery to ensure optimal performance. - Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime. - Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards. - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production deadlines. - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Web Press Production Technician Skills and Qualifications: - Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with web press operations. - Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly. - Flexibility to adapt to changing production demands and schedules. - Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Requirements: Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Printing/Finishing experience a plus, but not necessary. On-the-job training provided. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to apply basic math concepts (add, subtract, multiply, and divide). Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Physical and Working Conditions The job is performed in a manufacturing facility with exposure to large equipment, noise, and materials related to the printing process. The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. · Ability to stand for extended periods of time. · Ability to bend, stoop or kneel. · Ability to use hands and arms to type, reach, handle or feel. · Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
