Cut & Form Technician Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare sheet metal, bar and structural steel parts for the welding area
  
• Cut and form steel sheet and shapes by following assembly drawings and cutting lists
  
• Operate metal cutting and forming equipment
  
• Assist in loading and unloading of products and other general warehouse functions
  
• Collaborate with co-workers to ensure all materials are prepared properly and are complete so that the assemblies or weldments will be fabricated in an accurate and efficient manner
  
  Cut & Form Technician Key Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • High School Diploma or GED
    
  • Ability to operate metal cutting and forming equipment such as a band saw, shear, press brake, iron worker and other steel manufacturing tools is required, previous experience operating a forklift is beneficial
    
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting assembly drawings and material cutting lists is required, as well as reading and interpreting work orders, time cards, shipping reports and other job-related functions
    
  • Must have basic carpentry skills and mechanical knowledge relative to building construction and/or manufacturing environment, previous experience in metal fabrication is beneficial
    
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
