This is a 2nd shift position and standard hours are Monday-Thursday from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am, with overtime, as needed. The pay starts at $26.95 per hour and there is a shift premium of $1.25 per hour for this shift. - -CNC Machinist Position Summary:The CNC machinist sets up and operates machine tools within the work cell. • Changes settings or programs and tooling inserts in order to achieve the proper dimensions of finished parts.
• Assisting less experienced machinists with more complex or more difficult set-ups.
• Operates one or more machine tools to produce high quality parts in an efficient manner.
• Performs daily and weekly routine machine maintenance.
• Moves between machines in the cell as directed by area manager.
• Sets up and operates machine tools within the work cell.
• -As with everyone on the team, other duties may be assigned to support the overall success of the company. - -QualificationsCNC Machinist Qualifications:
  • Requires experience with Mills and/or Lathe work experience as CNC Machinist or a 2-year technical degree. -
  • Blueprint reading
  • Communicate and work well and efficiently with others
  • Basic computer
  • Intermediate inspection and measurement
  • Basic machine setup and operation
  • Basic math
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
