  • The hours are 6p-6a Fri, Sat, Sun
  • The CT Technologist assures that a written physician order is received prior to an exam performance and collects pertinent information.
  • The CT Technologist reviews exams on the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), checking for quality and completeness, and completes all necessary paperwork.
  • The technologist demonstrates regard for patient's safety and comfort.
  • Provides the patient and family with appropriate education to optimize their understanding within scope of responsibility.
  • Assures that a proper order is received prior to an exam performance and collects pertinent information prior to performing exam.
  • Assists the Radiologist/physician with patient exams and notifies them of changes to the patient that may alter exam protocol and performance.
  • Reviews images for quality and completeness.
  • Verifies that all images are on Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) with appropriate paperwork scanned in and distributes exam for interpretation to appropriate radiologist at completion of exam.
  • Demonstrates regard for patients' safety and comfort during transportation, immobilization, and positioning of patient.
  • Prepares pharmaceutical vials for injection, calculates and measures dosage accurately, and administers orally or by intravenous injection (IV) the correct diagnostic or therapeutic dosage and completes all required records.
  • Maintains accurate and complete record of all material received, dispensed, decayed and disposed of.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

    • Radiographer - North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners - Prior to Start Date - HR Primary Sources
    • Radiographer - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) - Within 6 Months of Start Date - HR Primary Sources
    • Computed Tomography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) - Within 24 Months of Start Date - HR Primary Sources
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) - Within 90 Days of Start Date - Learning Management System
