Overview The Office Coordinator at the Alerus Center is responsible for providing operational support to the Director of Finance and other staff as needed. This position coordinates a variety of complex administrative and clerical duties, as well as certain accounting duties.Responsibilities Open administrative office at 8:00AM, Monday through Friday Accounts Payable data entry Responsible for recording daily Box Office Sales and weekly Ticketmaster receipts Responsible for payroll entries and coordination with the Corporate Payroll office Coordinate and assist with hiring process for new employees Answer, screen, and direct phone calls Prepare for, record, and take minutes for all official meetings with the Event Center Commission, and Finance & Renovation Committee Provide general administrative support under direction from the General Manager, Directors, and staff Perform general administrative functions including mail distribution, photocopying, filing, ordering and maintaining office supplies Provide administrative support including typing correspondence, maintaining calendar, preparing contracts, making travel arrangements, compiling expense and other reports Assist with various event related duties as needed Serve as backup for Box Office when necessary to sell tickets during regular business hours. Qualifications Previous office management or executive support experience preferred Communicate clearly and concisely in the English language, both orally and in writing Strong PC and data processing skills Demonstrated ability to work as part of team and with all levels of management Strong customer service, organizational and interpersonal skills required Demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines Demonstrated ability to adhere to strict levels of confidentiality, discretion and ethics Experience in composition of letters including business letters, memos and basic report preparation.
