The Job Coach will oversee the training of the client and
provide support during employment activities.
This position assumes the authority, responsibility, and
accountability for carrying out their individual employment plans.
Working under the direction of the Employment Services Program
Coordinator, this position will ensure that all the supports
necessary for the client (transportation, attire, assisted
technology (AT), job training, professional social skills, etc.)
are in place. The Job Coach facilitates the development of natural
supports in each work environment and when appropriate, trains
individuals in the use of AT. This position works within the
guidelines of AC policies/procedures, individual employer's
policies/procedures, and state and federal laws, rules, and

to intervene promptly in crisis/emergency situations.
- Ideal candidate should understand and have a basic working
knowledge of computers or be willing to learn in order to assist
clients as well as to monitor and access AC attendance system.
- Required to provide proof of ownership/registration prior to
personal vehicle being approved for business use. Drivers must
provide and maintain current proof of insurance (e.g. insurance
card, policy declarations sheet, etc) with minimum limits as
follows: $100,000 per person, $300,000 CSL; Medical Pay: $5,000;
Uninsured Motorist Coverage.

demands of the employed individual's work hours. Work hours will
include some evening and weekend shifts, and are subject to
