Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., a leader in protective services, seeks a dedicated Security Officer to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining the safety and security of our clients’ properties, employees, and visitors. As a Security Officer within our dynamic environment, you will provide an essential service implementing our comprehensive security strategies across a variety of on-site assignments. Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. Conduct regular patrols on foot or using company vehicles. Manage access to the client site, ensuring security of the facility and safety of staff and visitors. Detect, deter, observe and report incidents and abnormalities promptly. Operate security control room equipment including surveillance systems. Administer and manage emergency response plans including but not limited to fire and evacuation plans. Maintain detailed logs and records. Provide customer-focused services to enhance the client experience while ensuring stringent security measures. Strong vigilance, observation skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in managing multiple tasks while remaining proactive and alert. Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively. Basic knowledge of security operations and safety practices. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance State-approved security licensure is mandatory. First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
