Job Description:

Good Samaritan Health Center seeks a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant II (CMAII) to join our team in providing exceptional healthcare to underserved communities. This role focuses on supporting our mission of holistic health and wellness by assisting in patient care under the supervision of physicians and nursing staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for community health, a thorough understanding of healthcare practices, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician Perform routine laboratory tests and administer medications as directed by healthcare provider Prepare and maintain examination and treatment areas Record patient history and personal information while ensuring confidentiality Schedule appointments and manage patient follow-up and records Educate and guide patients on disease prevention and health maintenance Proficiency in clinical skills such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and performing EKGs Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to maintain accurate and detailed medical records Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
