Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: /n Surgical Technician - CVOR /n/n Job Details: /n • 13-week assignment with 40 guaranteed hours per week /n• Work as part of the cardiovascular operating room team delivering surgical care /n• Specialize in heart and vascular services with knowledge of sterile and aseptic techniques /n• Organize and prepare case set-ups according to standard operating procedures /n• Assist Registered Nurse with circulating duties including preps, retrieving supplies, and printing pictures /n• Clean, assemble, operate, and care for instruments, supplies, and equipment used in team specialties /n• Provide patient care according to diagnosis/procedure utilizing procedure cards /n• Document procedure changes on procedure cards following each case /n• Responsible for ordering and stocking supplies /n• Assist with on-call cases including Lab and Blood Bank coordination /n• Participate in measuring and monitoring quality indicators and outcomes /n• Serve as subject matter expert for vascular and endovascular procedures /n• Identify and communicate unusual techniques and instruments required for complex surgeries /n• Must have North Dakota license (may be registered as Unlicensed Assistive Person, RN, or LPN) /n• BLS certification required prior to start date /n• Minimum 2 years experience in cardiovascular operating room required /n• Travel experience required with preference for 3 completed assignments /n• Strong cardiovascular operating room experience essential /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a specialized cardiovascular operating room providing comprehensive heart and vascular surgical services.
