Job Description:

Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team in the Long-Term Care (LTC) department. Our facility focuses on providing a compassionate, comprehensive healthcare service targeting underserved communities, emphasizing holistic health and wellness outcomes. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of direct patient care, adhering to all facility guidelines, and supporting our commitment to the communities we serve. Provide nursing care in accordance with resident care policies and procedures. Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients by assisting with bathing, feeding, and dressing. Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior. Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release information. Administer medications and treatments per physician orders. Maintain accurate patient records and chart patient progress. Coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Strong clinical skills in a healthcare setting. Proficient in using healthcare software and systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team setting. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current LPN or RN license valid in the state of employment. CPR/BLS certification required.
