Job Description:

Good Samaritan Health Center seeks a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant II (CMA II) to join our team in delivering exceptional care to underserved communities. In this role, you will support our mission of holistic health and wellness by performing clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient operation of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate professional with a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes and supporting community health. Perform routine patient care tasks under physician supervision, including taking vital signs, drawing blood, administering medications, and recording patient information. Assist in patient preparation for examinations and minor procedures. Maintain patient records and ensure documentation complies with legal and regulatory requirements. Schedule appointments and manage patient follow-up Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. Facilitate communication between patients, family members, and healthcare professionals. Proficiency in administering injections and performing EKGs Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
