Job Description:

Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking a dedicated and resourceful Certified Medical Assistant II (CMA II) to join our committed team in delivering exemplary medical care to underserved communities. In this critical role, you will support our mission to provide holistic and comprehensive healthcare services, enhancing health and wellness outcomes for those we serve. You will perform both clinical and administrative duties, helping to streamline operations while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on community health alongside a collaborative healthcare team. Conduct patient intake, including recording vital signs and documenting medical histories. Perform routine diagnostic procedures and administer medications as directed by the healthcare provider. Assist in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the environments sterile and equipped. Manage medical supplies inventory and place orders to ensure adequate stock levels. Assist with patient education regarding medical procedures, medication, nutrition, and maintenance of health and wellness. Maintain electronic medical records with accuracy and compliance to healthcare regulations. Proficiency in clinical procedures, including phlebotomy, administration of injections, and EKG. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Competence in using healthcare software and electronic health records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
