Good Samaritan Health Center, renowned for its commitment to holistic health and wellness, particularly in underserved communities, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant II (CMAII). This position demands comprehensive clinical and administrative skills to support our mission of delivering top-tier medical services. The ideal candidate will efficiently perform routine patient care tasks under the supervision of medical staff, exhibit strong communication capabilities, maintain patient records, and adhere to health and safety guidelines. Assist healthcare professionals in diagnosing and treating patients. Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and collecting samples. Record and maintain accurate patient information. Educate and counsel patients on health management and wellness strategies. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all equipment is clean and properly set up. Manage and update patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Strong clinical skills including administering injections and performing EKGs. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) management. Keen attention to detail and ability to accurately measure and record health information. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants or an equivalent body. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
