Job Description iDEAL Hire is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Fargo, North Dakota. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Job Title - Therapist - Respiratory Therapist Location - Fargo, ND Schedule / Job Type - Rotating shifts, full-time Key Responsibilities - Assess, monitor, and manage patients with cardiopulmonary disorders using therapeutic interventions and education. - Perform regular patient assessments and equipment checks, adjusting therapy as needed. - Collect and analyze specimens to determine oxygen, carbon dioxide, and gas levels. - Provide diagnoses and treatment suggestions based on patient evaluations. - Utilize various respiratory care equipment, including ventilators and monitoring devices. - Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans. Required Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience, preferably in NICU or PICU settings. - Valid BLS (AHA) certification. - State licensure or willingness to apply within 72 hours of offer acceptance. - NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. - Experience with NICU, PICU, and adult ICU patient populations. Preferred Experience / Skills - ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are highly preferred. - Experience with high-acuity pediatric and adult patients. - Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing patient conditions. - Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.
