Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Webster, SD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,542 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room/MedSurg Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Straight Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 years License: Active Compact or State License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: 2 years experience in Emergency Room 2 years experience in Med Surg Critical Access Hospital experience preferred EPIC experience preferred Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the Emergency Room and MedSurg. The RN will provide care for med/surg, outpatient, and emergency department patients. Typical RN procedures will include, but are not limited to, IV starts and foley catheter insertions. The RN will work alongside another RN to ensure quality nursing care. Experience in Critical Access Hospitals is preferred but not required. The average nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2 to 1:3, with a maximum of 1:6. There are 10 patient rooms, with an average of 4 patients per day. RNs will float between med/surg and the emergency department as needed. Candidates are expected to have all required certifications and be capable of working as a charge nurse in the ER if needed.
