Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Oakes, ND Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,674 to $1,868 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title RN (Registered Nurse), Med Surg City/State: Oakes, North Dakota Shift: Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, every 3rd weekend, float to ER holiday rotation Contract Length: 12.00-3, 91 Start Date: 03/02/2026 Job Description: The Registered Nurse will provide compassionate care in the Med Surg unit with responsibilities that include patient assessments, infusion pumps, medication administration, and teamwork. The RN will also float to the ER as needed and manage the assigned patient load efficiently. Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments and administer medications. Utilize infusion pumps and manage titratable drips such as Insulin, Heparin, and Levophed. Engage in effective communication and demonstrate teamwork with the medical staff. Read and document telemetry monitor strips as required. Float to the ER and assist with patient care when necessary. Requirements: Active nursing license to practice in North Dakota. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (if ER nurse). Competency in handling respiratory equipment including Cpap, BiPap, and high flow therapy. Experience in a critical access facility is appreciated. Comfortable with MEDITECH charting system.
