Contract Duration: 248 Days Start Date: ASAP About the Position We
are seeking a Physician specializing in Urology Surgery for a
248-day assignment in North Dakota, starting Apr 13, 2026. This
role involves providing comprehensive clinical urology services,
including surgeries, consultations, cystoscopies, and various other
related procedures, alongside conducting specialty exams pertaining
to urological conditions. The typical schedule for this position
runs from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Responsibilities and Duties Provide
clinical urology services, including surgeries, consultations,
cystoscopies, and other related urology procedures. Be present on
time for any scheduled clinics or surgeries as documented by
physical presence in the clinic or operating room at the scheduled
start time. Provide direct patient care including specialty exams
such as compensation and pension, or agent orange, as it pertains
to urological conditions only. Communicate all test results to
providers and patients in accordance with VHA Directive 1088,
ensuring all required actions and notifications are completed
within specified timeframes. Follow all established medication
policies and procedures; no sample medications shall be provided to
patients. Provide discharge education and follow-up instructions
that are coordinated with the next care setting for all urology
clinical or surgical patients. Additional Information EMR: The
client uses CPRS. Case Types: Expected to be able to perform
Lymphatic Major Procedures, Abdominal Major Procedures, I&D
Prostatic Abscess, Prostate Procedures, Urethra Procedures, Ureter
Major Procedures, Epididymis and Spermatic Cord Procedures, Bladder
Procedures, Kidney Major Procedures, Penis Procedures, Scrotum
Procedures, Testes Procedures, Endoscopy Procedures. Proficiency
with holmium laser, ESWL, and fluoroscopy is also required.
