Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days, evenings, nights, on call - Employment Type: Travel Required Certs: BLS, NIHSS. 13 week contract Candidates must have a minimum of 2 yrs experience in specific specialty. RNs must have 2 yrs inpatient acute care experience in a larger hospital. Epic experience required. The OR Cardiac Nurse is a Registered Nurse who specializes in the care of patients undergoing cardiac and cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This role involves providing expert perioperative nursing care before, during, and after heart surgeries, ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting the surgical team in high-acuity, fast-paced operating room environments. ssess patients preoperatively and verify surgical consent, medical history, and readiness for cardiac procedures • Provide intraoperative nursing care as a circulating nurse during cardiac surgeries • Anticipate surgical needs and respond quickly to changes in patient condition Surgical Support • Assist cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and surgical technologists during procedures • Prepare, maintain, and monitor sterile fields and cardiac surgical instruments • About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
