ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Devils Lake, North Dakota. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM • On-call requirements: 1 in 3 after hours, 1-2 nights of call during the week, and every 3rd weekend • Rotating holiday call coverage for 6 recognized holidays • Call response time of 20 minutes or as soon as possible • Work in department with 1 endoscopy suite and 2 operating rooms • Handle approximately 5 endoscopy procedures per day Monday-Friday, 9 cataracts every other Wednesday, approximately 3 scheduled C-sections per month, and 1-2 podiatry cases every Monday • Common procedures include endoscopy, C-sections, D&Cs, cataract extractions, podiatry, and resterilization of surgical instruments • Scrubbing required or willingness to learn to scrub • Floating requirements: assist with outpatient IV therapy, wound dressing changes, and blood product transfusions when no surgical cases available • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (preferred) • 2 years of experience preferred but not required • Endoscopy and C-section experience preferred but not required • Previous travel experience preferred but not required • Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs provided by hospital or bring your own ceil blue scrubs for in-house laundering • Electronic medical record system: Meditech 6 • 1-2 weeks of unit-specific orientation plus variable length buddy on-call orientation • Work alongside OR supervisor who shares workload and 24/7 house nurse coordinator • Cross-trained to perform all OR tech roles including scrubbing and resterilization Facility: This Critical Access Hospital provides comprehensive surgical services including a modern operating room suite with endoscopy capabilities.
