Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist (Rad Tech) with at least 2 years of CT and x-ray experience for an acute setting assignment with day shifts and rotating call. Responsibilities - Work in a 25-bed Critical Access hospital serving both acute care and clinic patients - Unit specializes in CT and general x-ray imaging for ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations - Average hospital census is 4-5 patients; ER averages 3 patients daily - Uses Siemens CT scanner, Phillips x-ray, EPIC EMR, and PACS imaging systems - Day shifts typically scheduled as either 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, four days per week - Call required 1-2 nights per week and coverage every fifth weekend and every fifth holiday, including Christmas Eve and Christmas - Will work independently when on call and during weekends - No floating to other departments - Must complete training prior to joining the call rotation; substantial orientation is not provided - Will perform general x-ray and CT procedures and manage patient scheduling for clinic, hospital, and ER - DEXA experience is a plus but not required - Gray scrubs are required - All staff must badge in and out at the facility - First-time travelers are accepted - Candidates who previously worked at this facility must have an employment end date at least 6 months prior to consideration - Facility considers local candidates; those within 80 miles are classified as local Requirements - Minimum of 2 years CT and x-ray experience required - ARRT and BLS for Healthcare Providers certifications required - North Dakota imaging license (NDMIRT) required - Experience operating CT scanners and x-ray equipment and producing diagnostic images required - Knowledge of radiation safety and strong patient care and customer service skills required - Epic EMR and PACS experience preferred - License required if applicable Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630274.
