Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT and
Radiologic Technologist skilled in both diagnostic radiography and
CT procedures, with active ARRT (R) certification and North Dakota
licensure required. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital radiology
department covering both CT and X-ray procedures - Serves a diverse
patient population including infants, pediatrics, adolescents,
adults, and geriatrics - Shift is 7 days on, 7 days off; hours are
8pm–7am weekdays and 7pm–7am on weekends, beginning Wednesday night
through the following Wednesday morning - Participation in
call-back required - Environment involves state-of-the-art
equipment and frequent contact with patients in various clinical
circumstances - Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious
diseases, following standard and aseptic precautions - Performs
diagnostic, CT, interventional radiography, and fluoroscopic
procedures under supervision of department manager - Responsible
for preparing patients, verifying informed consent, providing
patient education, and minimizing anxiety - Follows all radiation
protection and infection control protocols - May provide practical
instruction to students and other health care professionals -
Required to assist with quality assessment, improvement, and
maintenance of patient records - Participation in weekends,
evenings, holidays, and frequent interruptions is expected -
Exposure to stressful situations, extended periods of standing and
walking, and varied manual skills - Scrub or dress code details not
specified Requirements - Graduate of an accredited radiography
program - Active ARRT (R) certification required - Active North
Dakota radiologic technologist license required (License required
if applicable) - Must be able to perform CT procedures; ARRT (CT)
certification preferred - Ability to operate radiographic and CT
equipment and perform venipuncture - Ability to lift, push, or
transfer up to 50 pounds frequently - High degree of independent
judgment, especially in trauma or code situations - Strong
interpersonal, communication, and patient relation skills - Ability
