Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Patterns LLC to find a
qualified ER/Trauma RN in Jamestown, North Dakota, 58401! Pay
Information $87 to $97 per hour About The Position 1. General job
duties. Types of procedures required. Coordinates total nursing
care for patients of all ages utilizing the nursing process;
directs patient and family teaching; provides leadership by working
cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team
personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing
practice in the clinical setting. 2. Equipment utilized in the
unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems,
etc.) EPIC- ASAP Module- teaching provided 3. Required skills and
minimum years of experience. Work requires a professional level of
knowledge acquired by completing an accredited RN nursing education
program. Must hold RN licensure from the ND State Board of Nursing
for the current year. At least 1 year of previous ER experience is
required. Prefer some cardiac knowledge. 4. Specific licensures and
certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc.)
ND State or compact nursing license required. ED staff nurse
position requires ACLS certification as well as BLS and PALS. 5.
Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone?
Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
Variable - will not work alone. Always someone else here. Every 3rd
weekend required. 6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so,
to which units/departments?) Will not float. 7. Bed size/number of
rooms for this unit/dept. 11 8. Nurse to patient ratio of this
unit. (nursing only) Depends on how busy the ED gets. 9. Dress
