Broadway Med Cntr Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts Job Schedule: Full
time Pay Info: $20,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year work commitment
Interested in joining a great team of CT Technologists? We are
seeking a technologist to work a full-time and day shift position
at our Broadway Hospital. Shifts will vary between 7am - 3:30pm,
8am - 4:30pm, and 8:30am - 5pm. There is on average, 1 call night a
week (Monday - Thursday) and 1 call weekend, approximately every
6th weekend (Friday - Sunday). Holidays are covered by call also
with an average of 2 holidays per year on a rotating basis.
Performs diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scan images. Produces
quality computed tomography exam images and exercise professional
judgment in the performance of procedures. Provides for patient
care and initiates life support measure as necessary. Interacts
effectively with patients, physicians, family members, department
staff, and healthcare workers. Possesses the skills and knowledge
to operate CT equipment to produce quality CT scans as well as the
ability to perform related procedures and protocols. Possesses the
ability to professionally obtain information from patients or their
responsible parties to further improve their personalized treatment
and care. On a continuum, the CT Technologist works to develop an
understanding of the patient's physical and emotional status.
Sanford Rural Network Facilities sites may expand job
responsibilities based on the needs of the facility, to include,
but not limited to: on-call rotation nights, weekends, and
holidays. Perform diagnostic radiology procedures. Perform basic
diagnostic radiology tasks and aware of general radiology
protocols. Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology
training in an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school
or Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology
(JCERT) accredited program is required. Computerized Tomography
(CT) training or experience preferred. American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification is required at the
time of hire. Per Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence (DICOE)
and American College of Radiology (ACR) accreditation requirements,
CT certification obtained within two years is preferred. If working
in North Dakota and performing medical imaging or radiation therapy
procedures, licensure through the North Dakota Medical Imaging and
Radiation Therapy (NDMIRT) Board is required. In the state of Iowa,
all technologists must have a permit to practice through the Iowa
Department of Public Health in order to practice in the state of
