Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Cardiopulmonary Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years of paid experience License: CRT or RRT Certifications: BLS Must-Have: EPIC Experience; Flu Shot is REQUIRED Description: General job duties include performing pulmonary function tests and assisting in pulmonary rehabilitation. The equipment utilized in the department includes computerized charting and medication systems. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of paid experience. Required certifications include a CRT or RRT and BLS. The schedule requires availability for 70-80 hours per two-week pay period, with weekends and holidays on a rotating basis. This position requires taking call as needed. Floating to other units or departments is not required. The bed size for this department is 25 beds. There are no specific nurse-to-patient ratios applicable to this role. The dress code for this position is navy blue scrubs. Department orientation will be provided.
