Job Description & RequirementsEEG Technologist - (EEG Tech)StartDate: 01/18/2021Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1350.00 - 1700.00Takes appropriate patient history according to standard operating procedures. Explains test procedure to patient and family members.Performs EEG, EMG, NCV and Evoked Potentials tests and troubleshoots methodology to obtain optimal recordings. Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and repair them or report them promptly.Recognized artifact (patient or environmental). Documents, eliminates, or takes proper measure to monitor artifact or excessive stimulus artifact in order to obtain optimal responses.Maintains knowledge of neuroanatomy and physiology, basic electronics and electrical safety. Maintains knowledge of EEG instrumentation, pattern recognition and various medical, and pharmacological conditions that influence the EEG.
