Remote Insurance Corporate Claims Manager

Job Description:

An insurance company has an open position for a Remote Insurance Corporate Claims Manager.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:
Planning, controlling and coordinating claims activity and workflow
Ensuring the timely settlement of claims and maintaining acceptable closing ratios for the department
Preparing operating budget for unit/department and monitoring and controlling expenses
Skills and Requirements Include:

College degree
10+ years claims experience to include management of complex claims units
5+ year's claims supervisory experience
Multi-jurisdictional understanding of legal issues
Ability to lead a team of complex claims specialists who are technically experienced in severity claims
Strong people and management skills to properly performance manage staff
