Position Information: DescriptionThis is a key position of the Student Affairs & Admissions (SAA) leadership team. This position administers financial aid and directs student educational records as well as all student compliance, enrollment, and grade functions in SAA. This position provides leadership to designated staff and oversees functional areas within the SAA office.Duties & Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and administer medical student financial aid for the School of Medicine & Health SciencesProvide strategic leadership and oversight for student educational recordsProvide strategic leadership and oversight for enrollment & grade functionsProvide strategic leadership and oversight for student compliance functionsSupervise designated staff and provide leadership support to all other staff membersRequired Competencies

Master's Degree or equivalency in Management, Educational Leadership, Higher Education, or related fieldDemonstrated experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and Access)Proficient experience and usage of the UND policies and proceduresAt least five years of experience in higher education with progressively increasing level of responsibility requiredAt least five years of project management and/or supervisory experienceExperience in financial aid with progressively increasing level of responsibility, preferable in a medical academic settingTwo years of work experience in a directly related field, preferably in an academic setting Successful completion of a criminal history background checkValid driver's licenseIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity -and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. -This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.Preferred Qualifications
Supervisory experience in an NDUS settingExperience with FERPA rules and regulationsExperience with NDUS and UND policies and proceduresExperience with PeopleSoft Campus Connection, PeopleSoft Finance and PeopleSoft HRMS High level of experience regarding the administration of federal financial aid programsMinimum Hiring Salary/Position Classification$66,150 +/year dependent upon education and/or years of experience full-time, benefited, exempt Work Schedule/Start DateMonday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Requires occasional work outside of standard hours due to meetings or events.
