Position: Real Estate Broker Sales Manager Location: Grand Forks, ND Job Id: 356 # of Openings: 1 Position Title: Real Estate Broker Sales Manager Organizational Level: Salaried plus commission, Exempt Reports To: Owners Position Purpose: This position will be responsible for developing business relationships with agents, other real estate companies and brokers, as well as listing and selling farmland in states which he/she is licensed. Essential Functions: Communicates and supports the Company's mission, vision, and core values - Motivates agents to close sales - Develops effective training programs to teach agents how to acquire customers, negotiate deals, secure financing and complete paperwork for the sale - Sets weekly, monthly, and yearly monetary goals for the agents - Prepares budgetary needs - Works with Marketing to coordinate initiatives on how to develop new leads and increase sales - Conducts sales meetings - Conducts interviews and hires new real estate agents - Attends trade shows - Performs administrative duties as required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: - Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software venues - Relationship selling skills with consultative influence and above average closing skills - Demonstrated resourcefulness to develop business relationships - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Strong customer service skills both internal and external - Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate time management skills - Effective skills of listening, verbal, and written communications - Strong organizational and analytical skills - High degree of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality - Strong problem-solving skills & creativity - Ability to travel is required Education/Experience Requirements: - Real Estate Licenses in required states - Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate or five (5) plus years of related experience and/or training - Experience in customer service and community engagement - Experience in agriculture land salesSupervisory Responsibilities: - Real Estate Agents Physical Requirements: - Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds - Near vision and far vision necessary and the ability to adjust focus - Good hearing and continuous verbal (speaking) communication - Occasional reaching requirements of out, overhead, and low (below knees) Must be able to do: - Sitting 60% - Standing/Walking 40% - Kneeling/Squatting 2% - Good dexterity of fingers/handsWorking Conditions: Normal office conditions Outside weather conditions Equipment Used Regularly: Computer and computer software Telephone Printer/Copier/Scanner Fax Machine Calculator
