Job Description:

Johnson Controls is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controls Systems Technician III to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be integral to our mission of enhancing building efficiencies, sustainability, and security by focusing on advanced control systems. You will be working in a dynamic environment that values innovative solutions and meticulous attention to detail in deploying state-of-the-art technologies across various building systems. Implement, maintain, and repair various control systems including but not limited to HVAC, lighting, and security systems. Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide solutions that enhance system efficiency and reduce downtimes. Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of control systems. Collaborate with engineering teams to test new control system technologies and facilitate their integration into existing building infrastructures. Document technical procedures and user manuals for system operations and maintenance. Train junior technicians on control system operations and safety protocols. Proficiency in programming and maintaining building management systems (BMS) Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems Ability to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Effective communication and team collaboration skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Automation Professional (CAP) Building Operator Certification (BOC) Certification in relevant BMS platforms such as Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or Siemens
