The Basics: This is an in-office position located at the Acme Tools corporate office in Grand Forks, ND. Working in Grand Forks is required at this time. Typical hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

What You'll Take Ownership Of:

As an SEO Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and increasing visibility for our website through strategic and data-driven SEO tactics. You will be responsible for executing and implementing SEO strategies, analyzing data to ensure maximum efficiency, and staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Execute and implement SEO strategies, including keyword research, meta tag optimization, and content optimization to improve website ranking and visibility.
Develop and execute link building strategies, monitor backlink profile, and optimize website structure and navigation to improve search engine crawlability.
Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Moz, and Search Console.
Use Google Analytics, Moz, and Search Console to track and report on the website's traffic, key performance indicators, and search engine rankings.
Stay updated on the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates, and adapt strategies accordingly.
Work closely with the content team to ensure all website content is optimized for search engines.
Establish detailed KPIs and metrics to track and report on the performance of SEO goals, processes, and programs, and transform data into actionable insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure website design, development, and marketing efforts align with SEO goals.
Prepare and present reports on SEO performance, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and management.

Need-To-Haves:

A Bachelor's degree in a business field or at least 2+ years of related experience
Microsoft Excel and word processing software proficiency
Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and presentation skills with the ability to write reports and business correspondence
Knowledge of calculating figures and amounts such as profit margins, discounts, percentages, and inventory levels
A natural curiosity for how things works and the ability to adapt to ever-changing internet world
Ability to work autonomously and part of a team environment, and to keep a high degree of confidentiality of all department and company information

Love-To-Haves:

Prior experience with inventory control practices and web analytics
Point of sale system experience working in a retail environment
Bonus points for tool and equipment industry knowledge
