Job Description:
JOB SUMMARYTo gain a broad overview of the multiple aspects of
the Client Accounting Services group by observing and assisting
accounting professionals, as well as performing a variety of
accounting duties in support of various Client Accounting Services
Departments.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- May assist in assembling, analyzing and reconciling general
ledger, bank reconciliation and month end related entries.
- Research open accounting issues and discrepancies.
- Verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting
classifications assigned to various source documents.
- Assist in month end procedures and preparation of financial
reporting packages to forward to the field offices.
- Participate in informational overview, including observing and
assisting within the various Client Accounting Services functional
areas; such as AP, AR, lease admin, etc.
- Other duties may be assigned.QUALIFICATIONS

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's (BA/BS) program from an
accredited four-year college or university, in Accounting or
related discipline. Third-year student status
preferred.Certificates and/or Licenses
- NoneCommunication Skills
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various types of
business documents.
- Ability to effectively respond verbally or in writing to basic
inquiries. Requires a high level of commitment to customer
service.Financial Knowledge
- Requires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and
principles. Ability to perform basic financial analysis and
accounting calculations. Requires a basic understanding of internal
controls as well as a basic understanding of financial reporting
rules and regulations.Reasoning Ability
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions in standard
situations. Ability to identify and solve various types of
problems. Requires strong analytical and quantitative skills.Other
Skills and/or abilities
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure with a
proactive approach to unusual occurrences. Requires good
organizational skills, attention to detail and an openness to new
ideas and procedures. General experience with MS Office
